WHO WE ARE

Thank you for your interest in Chicago Motion Picture Studios, and Windy City Films. We are a group of film production and distribution companies dedicated to showcasing independent films developed, produced and filmed in Chicago.

We have a visible impact on the face of the world through the eyes of the Windy City. We insist on quality films, variety of genre, diversity in casting and always have well known name actors attached.

Our additional cast are generally Chicago based actors who have extensive training from places like Northwestern University, The Theatre School (formerly The Goodman School of drama), The Second City (one of the major launching grounds for Saturday Night Live), Steppenwolf Theater, Victory Gardens Theater, Piven workshop etc.

Chicago is known as one of the best theater cities in our nation. Currently we are in production on four independent features, with 6 in development. Most of our titles can be seen in major video store chains across the nation as well as domestic and international television.
